Tracey Bargh

Tracey was born profoundly Deaf and was educated through "Oral" methods in residential schools for Deaf children.
At a later stage in her life she decided to learn BSL at a local college.
She is currently working with deaf children as Deaf Role Model in mainstream schools throughout Lancashire as well as working for the Sign Studio Team as a training consultant.
Tracey is an active member of the committee at Lancaster Deaf Club and as well as being a member of Lancaster Deaf Club, she is a member of The National Deaf Children’s Society, West Lancashire Deaf Association and a Women’s Adventure Group that organises activities for Deaf & hearing women who sign.

Qualifications related to Deaf Studies:

• British Sign Language Level 1 & 2
• City & Guilds 7307 The Further and Adults Education Teachers Certificate Stage1 & 2

• Further teacher training and Deaf Studies Modules

Tracey has also obtained a Sports Therapy Dipolma
